Service Terms of Service

These Service Terms ("Terms") apply to every service ordered from IdeaStudio. By opening a service ticket in our Discord server and confirming a quote, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and any project or organisation you represent.

Services are ordered exclusively through a ticket in our Discord server. Agreements made by direct message, in another server or on any other platform are not recognised and are not covered by these Terms.

IdeaStudio provides planning and documentation services only. Our deliverables are written documents — project blueprints, technical specifications, structure plans and creative briefs — intended to be executed by you, your staff or a third party of your choosing.

We do not build, develop, design, configure, host or deploy anything as part of a service. We do not act as your developer, designer or administrator, and we do not require access to your systems.

Before work begins we provide a written scope in your ticket covering deliverables, timeline and price. That scope, together with these Terms, forms the complete agreement for your order. Anything not listed is out of scope, and additional requests are quoted separately.

Quotes are given in the currency stated in your ticket and are valid for 14 days. Unless agreed otherwise, a 50% deposit is due before work starts and the remaining balance is due on delivery.

Final documents are released after the balance is paid in full. Drafts and previews shared before then are for review only and may not be used for implementation.

Payments are non-transferable between projects and cannot be applied to an unrelated order.

Timelines assume you supply required materials, access and feedback promptly. If we are waiting on you for more than 14 days, the order may be paused and rescheduled to the next available slot.

You are responsible for ensuring any content, branding or assets you provide are lawful and that you hold the rights to use them.

Each plan includes two rounds of revisions within the agreed scope. A revision means refining or clarifying what was written, not replacing the direction that was approved.

Requests that change the approved direction, add deliverables or arrive more than 14 days after delivery are treated as new work and quoted separately.

On full payment, you receive ownership of the final documents produced specifically for your project, and you are free to hand them to any developer, designer, agency or staff member to implement.

IdeaStudio retains ownership of its own pre-existing templates, frameworks and internal methodology, and grants you a perpetual, non-exclusive licence to use them as part of your deliverable. You may not resell or redistribute our plans as a standalone product.

Unless you ask us in writing not to, we may display non-confidential work in our portfolio and server showcase channels.

You may cancel at any time by stating so in your ticket. Deposits are non-refundable once work has begun, and any work completed up to the cancellation point is invoiced at the agreed rate.

If IdeaStudio cancels an order for a reason within our control, you receive a pro-rata refund for work not delivered.

Chargebacks filed without first raising the issue in your ticket are treated as a breach of these Terms and may result in removal from the server.

All clients must follow the IdeaStudio server rules and the Discord Terms of Service and Community Guidelines while working with us.

We may decline or end an order at our discretion, including for harassment of staff, unlawful requests, content that targets or endangers others, or attempts to bypass platform rules.

Information you mark as confidential is shared only with the team members working on your order. Tell us in the ticket if your project requires additional handling and we will confirm what we can accommodate.

Deliverables are provided as described in the scope. Our plans are professional recommendations, not guarantees of outcome. We do not warrant that a project built from a plan will succeed commercially, and we are not responsible for how a third party interprets, implements, prices or executes it.

Cost, effort and timeline figures in a plan are estimates based on the information you provide. We do not warrant the availability, pricing or behaviour of any third-party platform, bot, hosting provider or API that a plan recommends.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, IdeaStudio total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost revenue or lost data.

Every completed plan includes 14 days of clarification support. If you or your build team do not understand part of the document, ask in the ticket and we will explain or correct it at no charge.

Clarification does not include supervising your build, reviewing your team’s work, or adding new scope. Ongoing oversight can be arranged as a separate order.

We may update these Terms. The version in effect when your order was confirmed governs that order. Material changes are announced in the server before they take effect.
